About Us

Silver City Studios began in early 2017 in Milwaukee’s Silver City neighborhood. Sparked by their need for an affordable audio workspace, three local engineers pooled their resources to create an artist-run, professional, and fun working environment.

In mid-2018, the studio relocated to the Washington Heights neighborhood on West Vliet St., residing inside Wash Heights Creative Works.

Since its founding, Silver City Studios has recorded and mixed countless bands, solo musicians (instrumentalists, spoken word artists, rappers), podcasts, audiobooks, scores and sound design for film (including spatial audio for VR), and much more. Hear our work here.

Silver City Studios currently houses the engineers (left to right) Andrew Jambura, Josh Evert, and Chuck Zink. They are committed to providing an affordable and comfortable space where artists are free to experiment.
